First in a series: The Profile of ERP Through 2021

Accenture reports that >50% of CIOs are using cloud ERP with some 10% utilising some form of hybrid model. Combine this with the surge in remote access and the expectation for dashboard reporting and you have a melting pot of requirements, ready to take advantage of Artificial Intelligence (AI). What we don’t recognise is that many SMB’s are already using AI. 

 

There are systems in everyday use such as those that protect you against email trolls, those providing security in the cloud and those that auto-populate addresses. There are many other “everyday” use with AI embedded. Most businesses need a mix of structured and unstructured data and so tools have emerged to extract the information and insight from that data. Many of these solution include AI to solve this challenge and are already increasing workforce efficiency. 

 

This AI-intelligent ERP combines historic and current data, plots future trends as well as incorporating unstructured data. By integrating intelligent ERP with automated business processes can result in huge gains in productivity.
